Anthony R. Leardi graduated from the University of Western Ontario Faculty of Law in 1996 and was called to the bar of the Law Society of Upper Canada in 1998. Mr. Leardi focuses primarily on Family Law issues and litigation over contested Estates.

Mr. Leardi has represented clients in difficult family law cases involving disputes over the division of assets, pensions, child support, spousal support, custody of children, access issues, and termination of support. Mr. Leardi has drafted hundreds of Separation Agreements, Marriage Contracts, and Cohabitation Agreements.

In the area of estates litigation, Mr. Leardi has been successful in advancing the claims of his clients to estate proceeds, and removing persons acting as guardians of the property of others. Mr. Leardi has drafted over one thousand Wills and over two thousand Powers of Attorney.

Mr. Leardi has conducted hundreds of hearings and trials under the Family Law Act, the Divorce Act, the Succession Law Reform Act, the Trustee’s Act, the Substitute Decisions Act, and the Human Rights Code. In addition to these, Mr. Leardi has appeared at every level of court in Ontario including the Ontario Court, the Superior Court, the Human Rights Tribunal, and the Ontario Assessment Review Board, the Divisional Court, and the Court of Appeal.
